Roscommon IFA Chairman Jim O' Connor says there will be minimal disruption caused by a farmers' protest in the county town on Friday.
A series of regional protests beginning in Cavan town on Friday morning and moving to Roscommon for half-past twelve in the afternoon.
The IFA is holding a total of four regional rallies on the day to highlight what it describes as the government's action in pursuing policies that will decimate Ireland's largest indigenous sector.
