Roscommon Library Service has joined an international programme of events to celebrate St. Brigid's Day.
The feast day traditionally marks the beginning of Spring and finds it's origins in Ireland's ancient pagan traditions.
Roscommon Library Service have joined an international programme of events from Europe, Africa and the United States to mark the day.
Locally, the service has launched an instructional video for crafting a St. Brigid's Cross and a colouring competition for young students.
