A Roscommon mother and daughter have raised over 7,400 euro for a suicide awareness charity.
Taghmaconnell's Rose and Katie Phelan abseiled 150 feet from the top of Croke Park in September.
The duo decided to take on the challenge as Suicide or Survive is their employers chosen charity of the year. The two women were helped fundraise by their colleagues at Momentum Support.
Suicide or Survive aims to break down the stigma associated with mental health, ensuring that those affected have access to quality services.
Rose says its important to help people who suffering with their mental health.
