The Roscommon Environmental Network is calling on residents to improve their knowledge of water quality and conservation in their area.
It's organising courses in Boyle, Castlerea and Roscommon town on the ecology and biodiversity of your local streams, rivers, loughs and wetlands, aimed at tidy towns, angling and environmental groups as well as teachers.

The courses begin in early July with registration available through the Environmental Network's facebook page.
