Roscommon Post Office will close its doors for the final time today before it relocates to a commercial premises in the town. The landmark building in Roscommon Town will be put on the market once it ceases operations.
The postal service in the town will move Fleming's SuperValu on Main Street next Tuesday. Former local councillor Kathleen Shanagher says she hopes the iconic building on the square won't be left vacant for long:
