This afternoon, the HPSC has published provisional epidemiological reports based on the information captured by the HSE COVID Care Tracker which comes with its own health warning from officials.
According to the data based on information between the 26th of May and the 8th of June, a total of 175 cases of Covid have been reported in local, counties - including 87 in Cavan - resulting in a Covid incidence rate per 100,00 of 114 - just above the national average of 113.
50 cases have been recorded in Roscommon, 18 in Longford, 14 in Monaghan and just six in Leitrim.
Limerick's incidence rate of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people is now 441.8 after 861 cases in the last two weeks.
Westmeath has the third highest incident rate at 140 after 125 cases in the last 14 days. Sligo now has the lowest rate of Covid-19, recording just six new cases over the two weeks, the same number as Leitrim.
