Roscommon residents who died in separate incidents named locally

The woman whose body was discovered at her home in Kilglass on Saturday morning has been named locally as Martina Senturk, nee Reynolds.

The mother of three, who was in her thirties, was from the local area, and had worked at Cavan General Hospital.

Her funeral will take place on Wednesday morning at the Sacred Heart Church in Kilglass.

Meanwhile the Roscommon pedestrian who died in a road traffic collision near Moate in the early hours of yesterday morning has also been named locally.

He was John Fleming from Brenamore, Loughglynn, and formerly of Lisacul, Castlerea.

He died after he was involved in a collision with a car shortly before two o' clock yesterday morning on the R446 at Marshbrook just across the Westmeath border with Offaly.
