Three Roscommon Students are on their way to the Junk Kouture World Finals in Monte Carlo next week.
A group of students from Elphin Community College in Roscommon have been chosen to contest this year's Junk Kouture Finals.
Mary McNulty, Martha Nugent and Vanessa Kielty have designed, created and arranged the piece, with Vanessa set to model it for the event.
Junk Kouture is also open to students across England, France, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and New York.
The entries have to be manufactured from unwanted and recycled items, with the Elphin outfit, titled STEMinist is made up of medical tubing, a dissembled builders hat and rusted corrugated iron.
The World Junk Kouture title was won last year by students from Cnoc Mhuire in Granard.
