A Roscommon vet was censured last year by the Veterinary Council.
The regulatory body for vets in Ireland considered a report from the Fitness to Practise Committee in respect of Paul Callaghan, Mockmoyne, Boyle, County Roscommon.
According to the 2020 Annual Report, it was alleged that Mr Callaghan had in his possession unauthorised animal remedies and failed to keep at his premises a record of purchases and sales, including quantities administered, and incoming and outgoing transactions.
The Fitness to Practise Committee made findings of professional misconduct in respect of these allegations, and the Council directed, under section 81 of the Act, that Mr Callaghan be censured in relation to his professional conduct.
