Roscommon woman Heather Payne is named among the 23 strong squad who'll represent Ireland in the FIFA women's world cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand in the coming weeks.
The 23 year old who's from Creagh, Ballinasloe began her sporting career playing soccer locally for Ballinasloe town and the Athlone District League, as well as playing Gaelic for Padraig Pearse's and Roscommon.
She has been playing most recently for Florida State University in the US.
The first game for Ireland will be against Australia on the 20th July.
