Roscommon's unemployment figures are the lowest they have been for almost 12 months.
1,962 people were on the Live Register in the county last month - the first time it has dipped below the 2,000 mark since November 2019.

The last time Roscommon's unemployment figure was below the 2,000 mark was November 2019, when it reached 1,978 before increasing again in December.
Athlone's unemployment figure decreased by just one in October - to 1825 and Mullingar's figure dropped by 149 to 2,375
