Gardai in Roscommon are appealing for information on two burglaries in recent days.
The first incident occurred in the Dysart area at around a quarter to four yesterday afternoon.
Thieves gained entry by forcing a window to a private house - investigating officers are assessing what items were stolen.
It’s believed a dark-coloured car similar to an Audi A4 may be linked to the incident.
Gardai are also investigating an attempted break-in to a house in the Wilson close area of the Galway road of Roscommon town on Monday afternoon.
It’s understood four men, one wearing a grey suit, were involved – the other men are understood to have been wearing hats and scarves.
The men were disturbed by the owner of the house and made off towards a nearby field.
Gardai are asked anyone who has any information or particularly dash cam footage of activity in either the Galway road or Dysart areas at the time to come forward.
