Rowers from across the country will gather in Leitrim today to participate in a national rowing competition.
The Head of the Shannon race will see water sport enthusiasts travel downstream from Carrick-on-Shannon Bridge for a distance of three and half kilometers.
Hundreds of rowers are expected to take part this year following an absence in 2020 due to Covid-19.
