A public meeting is taking place in east Galway on Thursday night to discuss the spate of burglaries in the area. The rural crime meeting is being organised by the Enough is Enough group, who held a protest rally in Castlerea recently.
Thursday's meeting is taking place in Dowd's in Glinsk on Thursday at 8.30. West Roscommon councillor Anthony Waldron is one of the organisers - he says he's very concerned at the recent spike in crime:
