The Christmas Lights in Roscommon town will be switched on this evening.
The Roscommon Lights committee are celebrating their 31st year erecting the Christmas lights in the town.
The lights will be switched on at 5pm with the committee advising people to arrive early in the Square.

Santa Claus will arrive in the town to turn on the lights and mark the official start of the festive season.
