Nicola Murphy, who lived in Scramogue, died earlier today while aged in her mid-40s.

The party rejected the Scramogue man's request to run alongside Ballygar GP Martin Daly, who narrowly beat him in a selection convention.

The project is currently at design stage and a 5.8km route has been selected, going from the Dublin Road to the Boyle Road.

The works are expected to be substantially completed by October 2027.

A portion of the N5 between the N61 Tulsk junction and R361 junction in Frenchpark will be closed from the 10th of July to the 28th of July.

Construction on the Ballaghaderreen to Scramogue road could begin in June 2023.

The surveys are part of the National Broadband Plan roll out across the country

The road project was hit with a major setback earlier this year.
