Search continues for missing elderly man in Longford

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for anyone in the area who was driving and has dash cam footage to make it available to Longford Garda Station.

The search for a missing elderly man in Longford has entered its second week.
Peter Oliver Bohan was last seen leaving his home in Drumlish on Sunday afternoon, the 12th of May wearing a blue knitted jumper, dark trousers and a dark baseball cap with a red peak.
An intensive search has been conducted over the last 8 days in the lands surrounding Cloonellon on the Newtownforbes/Drumlish Road.

Specialist teams from the Civil Defence using drones and sniffer dogs along with the Garda Air unit have searched the area thoroughly.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for anyone in the area who was driving and has dash cam footage to make it available to Longford Garda Station.
CCTV from Drumlish and the surrounding villages have also been checked by investigating Gardaí, who at this time are conducting a missing persons investigation only.
