A major public search for missing a missing Drumlish man is winding down this afternoon, with Gardaí and the Civil Defence to continue their efforts. 79 year old Peter Oliver Bohan was last seen leaving his property at Cloonellon on the Newtownforbes Road on Sunday afternoon. When last seen, Peter was wearing a blue knitted jumper, dark trousers and a dark baseball cap with a red peak. Intensive searches of the surrounding area have been conducted over the last four days by Longford Civil Defense, Gardaí and locals.
The Garda air unit, Civil Defence Drone operators and specialist sniffer dogs have been deployed. A major public search was organised by local Councillor Paraic Brady yesterday and began this morning, with over 100 people searching surrounding fields, roads and lanes.
