A search operation is underway in North Longford for an elderly man missing from his home since this afternoon.
Local Gardaí are urgently appealing to the public near Cloonellon in Drumlish to check sheds, farm buildings and surrounds.
The man in his 80s was last seen this afternoon in the area on the Newtownforbes Road outside Drumlish.

The Garda air unit is currently on the scene and locals are asked to contact their local station with any information.
