A second book of condolence has opened for Fine Gael councillor John Naughten at Roscommon County Council offices. It's open in the Athlone area office in Monksland from 9.30 in the morning until 5 o'clock in the evening. A similar book is available for the public to sign in the council's headquarters in Roscommon town.
Cllr Naughten died last Friday at his home in Drum in south Roscommon and his funeral is taking place on Thursday. Fianna Fáil councillor Sean Moylan has been paying tribute:
