The National Broadband Initiative has confirmed that several areas of North Longford have been targeted for the next roll out of high speed Internet.
Rural areas in Drumlish, Newtownforbes, Moyne and Lega are set for connection in the coming weeks.
Drumlish, Newtownforbes and Barraghbeg fall under the Rooskey deployment area where 120 premises will be connected shortly.
While 175 premises in Moyne and Legga are set to come online soon according to the NBI.
The roll out of high speed Internet has brought connections to over 8,600 properties so far in Longford.
