Several schools in Shannonside region closed tomorrow after damage caused by Storm Darragh

Several schools in Longford town will be closed tomorrow because of issues caused by Storm Darragh.

There have been problems with water supplies in the area after power cuts on Friday night.

St Mel's College, St Joseph's National School on the Dublin Road, Gaelscoil Longfoirt in Farneyhoogan, Meán Scoil Mhuire on St Joseph's Road and Templemichael College have all confirmed they will be closed tomorrow.

In Co Leitrim, Mohill Community College will also be shut tomorrow for the same reason.
