Several schools across the Shannonside region will be closed tomorrow because of the bad weather.
A status orange low temperature and ice warning is in place until 10 o'clock tomorrow morning, for Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon.
Numerous schools will not open tomorrow, including Abbey College in Boyle; Lanesboro Community College; Lisacul National School, near Ballaghaderreen; St Nathy's College, Ballaghaderreen; St Attracta's National School, Ballaghaderreen; Carrick-on-Shannon Community School; Mohill Community College; Gaelscoil Liatroma in Carrick-on-Shannon; St Mel's College, Longford; Elphin Community College; Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown; Moyne Community School, Co Longford; St Anne's National School, Castlerea; St Mel's National School, Ardagh; Cnoc Mhuire Secondary School, Granard.
Meanwhile, Aura Leitrim Leisure has shortened its opening hours tomorrow: it will open from 9am to 9pm.
