The Emergency Department at Sligo University hospital is facing severe overcrowding today.
The Hospital is the third busiest in the country this afternoon behind Limerick and Cork University Hospitals.
According to today's INMO trolley watch figures, there are 117 people across the region on Emergency Department waiting lists.
39 of those are waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital.
That's followed by UHG where 33 people are on trolleys in the hospital's ED.
Midlands Regional Hospitals in Mullingar and Tullamore are facing 16 and 14 people waiting for a bed respectively.
While in Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe, 9 people are on trolleys according to today's figures.
In the Northern Sound Region, Our Lady's Hospital in Drogheda is facing 4 patients on Trolleys, while there are two people waiting on a bed in Cavan General Hospital.
Nationally 400 people are on trolleys or waiting for beds elsewhere in the nationals hospitals this afternoon.
