A Roscommon councillor says he wants to see the reopening of the Shannon Key West Hotel in Rooskey.
Cllr Tom Crosby was speaking following the recent development of Lynders Caravan Park in the north Roscommon village.
The controversial hotel closed in 2011 and was mooted as a Direct Provision centre in recent years.
The hotel suffered fire damage following two arson attacks in 2019 before direct provision plans were scrapped.
