Shannonside businesses consider more job losses as Level 3 restrictions come into effect tonight

Businesses across the Shannonside region are coming to terms with the possible impact of Level 3 restrictions.

The restrictions will see no indoor gatherings and no social or family gatherings. Pubs and restaurants will only be allowed stay open to serve food or drinks outdoors or operate a takeaway service.

Eimear Reynolds runs the Coffee House 45 on Dublin street in Longford town.

She employs ten people and says while she will continue to offer a takeaway and outdoor service, she is still likely to have to cut her workforce by half.
