Leitrim, Longford and Roscommon had the fewest blood donations in the country last year.
In total, there were nearly 132,000 donations in Ireland during 2022, according to freedom of information figures.
While national blood donations increased by 2.4 per cent last year, there were only 865 blood donations in Leitrim - the lowest in the country.

That's followed by Longford at 1,144 and Roscommon, at 1,413.
The biggest increase in donation last year was in Donegal, where they more than doubled, to almost 4,900.
