Irish rail is reporting significant disruption to Sligo/Connolly and Connolly/Sligo services this afternoon.
It follows a tragic incident on the line at Enfield earlier today. The nature of the incident is not yet known. The 11:05 Sligo to Connolly service is currently stopped between Mullingar and Enfield whilst emergency services attend the scene.
The line is closed in both directions until further notice and Irish Rail say they will provide an update in due course.
