Significant increase recorded in Longford rent prices in the space of a year

Rents have increased by 20 per cent in Longford in the space of year, according to a Daft.ie report.
The average rent in the county was 1,337 euro in the first three months of 2024 - up a fifth on the same time last year.
There was a 9.3 per cent increase in Leitrim, with the average rising to 1,049 euro.

The increase was 4.9 per cent in Roscommon, with the average standing at 1,195 euro in the first three months of this year.
