A Roscommon nurse has described the anguish of treating Covid 19 patients in Intensive Care during the pandemic.
Chloe Burke worked in a hospital in Edinburgh throughout the pandemic, before making the decision to leave the profession earlier this year.
She says she took the decision to protect her own mental and physical health after months of treating patients on ventilators and liaising with families who could not see their loved ones before in some cases they passed away.
Chloe says the experience has left many health care staff with post-traumatic stress disorder.
She told today's Let's Talk there were many times where she spent her nights at home in tears:
