The national school's pupil numbers have doubled over the past 10 years and it is now spread over two campuses, due to overcrowding.

He met the school's new committee, who told him the current facilities are inadequate and there is an overcrowding problem.

Under the proposed bill, it would prevent charities and local sports clubs advertising their fundraising draws if the prize pool is over €10,000.
