Sinn Féin says ESB customers must not be made to foot the bill for damage from Storm Éowyn.
The company initially said this week that its users would have to shoulder extra costs - but has since said a review of charges won't happen until October 2026.
Around 2,000 customers are still without power, 17 days after the storm hit.
Sinn Féin Roscommon/Galway TD Claire Kerrane says the response from the ESB is insulting.
