It's been announced today that a location for Longford's new Civic Centre has been decided.
The news was delivered to members of Longford County Council at their monthly meeting today.
Councillors were told it's hoped to build the proposed facility on Great Water Street beside their existing headquarters in the town.

The development could become a one-stop shop for future public services in the county.
No details are available as yet as to the cost and timeline for the build.
