The number of people in Longford, Roscommon and Leitrim in receipt of the Pandemic Unemployment payment has decreased for the second week in a row.
Figures from the Department of Social Protection show a minor drop of 48 people with the three counties claiming the payment in the last week.
Nationally, figures receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment are down 3,666 this week with 477,700 people claiming the P.U.P tomorrow.
In Roscommon, the figure has decreased from 5,586 people in receipt of the support last week to 5,559 receiving this week.
In Longford, just 13 people have signed off the P.U.P. in the last week, down from 3,210 last week to 3,197 this week.
While in Leitrim, 8 workers have closed their applications in the last week, with a total of 2,949 people now in receipt of the payment.
The construction sector has seen the largest decrease in the number of people receiving the PUP this week, with 705 fewer people receiving the payment compared to last week.
