The Emergency Department at Sligo University Hospital is seeing some of its highest ever levels of overcrowding.
50 people are waiting for a hospital bed at the North West Facility today, with 31 on trolleys and 19 waiting elsewhere in the building.
Elsewhere in the region, 37 are waiting at UHG, 4 are without a bed in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe and 2 people are on trolleys at Muillingar Hospital.
Nationally, 483 people are waiting for a bed in hospitals around the country this morning.
University Hospital Limerick is once again the worst affected by overcrowding, with 89 patients on trolleys.
