Visiting restrictions at Sligo University Hospital will be lifted from next week.
Visitors will no longer be required to produce an EU Digital Covid Certificate or Vaccination Record from Monday February 21st.
However, visits must be pre-arranged with the ward manager and access will only be facilitated between 6pm and 8pm.
In a statement, the hospital say they need to manage the risk of Covid-19- while ensuring patients who need the support of a partner have access to visitors.
They are also requesting that all visitors wear a surgical mask while in the hospital and use the hand gel regularly.
