Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan is set to top the poll in Sligo-Leitrim, according to an exit poll.
Feighan leads the 18 candidates vying for four seats in the constituency, according to an Ocean FM/ATU Sligo Election Exit Poll.
Pundits are predicting Feighan, Fianna Fáil's Eamon Scanlon and Sinn Féin TD Martin Kenny are on course to take three of the four seats. Whereas, The poll suggests a huge battle for the final seat.
Fine Gael councillor Enda McGloin, who is Feighan's parliamentary assistant, has given his take on the poll results.
