A government TD has said it's a waste of money to have the Dáil sitting in the Convention Centre.
TDs will spend two days in the conference centre this week and it's likely to be used as a venue for the Dáil on voting days for the foreseeable future.
It costs the state 25,000 euro a day to use the Convention Centre.
