Sligo University Hospital Emergency Department busy this morning

Patients attending the Emergency Department at Sligo University Hospital today should expect delays. This morning's INMO trolley watch count has recorded 38 people waiting for a bed in the hospital today.

SUH is the third busiest in the country according to the nursing and midwife union, with 38 patients waiting. Of those, 22 are on trolleys with a further 16 waiting elsewhere in the hospital. Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe has 4 people waiting today while Mullingar Regional Hospital has one patient on a trolley as of this morning.
