Sligo University Hospital has sent an apology to a Leitrim woman over shortcomings in a clinical judgement

Sligo University Hospital has apologised to a Leitrim woman after for the shortcomings in clinical judgement when she presented at its A&E in severe pain in 2016.

Ballinamore woman Jennifer McTague was given morphine but was discharged and hours later was re-admitted when she had to get extensive surgery for a bowel obstruction.
