The son of one of Leitrim's most famous figures involved in the War of Independence says it's very emotional to see his mother recognised at a local train station.
Irish Rail is currently installing various panels at train stations across the country highlighting famous figures of note in the area.
A panel, including local woman Bridie Clyne, has recently been unveiled, with locals especially impressed by the unique signage.
Proinsias O'Rathaille previously unveiled a plaque at the bridge in Rooskey to remember his mother, who played a key role in Cumann Na mBan activities.
He says the sign is a wonderful reminder of local history :
