A remembrance ceremony is taking place in Co. Leitrim today to honour two men killed during the Don Tidey search 41 years ago.
Private Patrick Kelly and Garda recruit Gary Sheehan were shot dead by the IRA during the rescue of the chief executive of Quinnsworth just outside Ballinamore.
A monument in honour of the men will then be unveiled at Ballinamore Garda Station.
