A local conservation group has spoken out about the effects speeding motorists are having on our wildlife in Mote Park in Roscommon.
The park is a popular destination among families and sees many pedestrians every day.
Mote Park Conservation Group has been vocal about local fauna being found dead on the roads around the main entrance of the Roscommon park.
The group is calling for a meeting with Roscommon County Council and local authorities to discuss the development of speed ramps as a solution to this.
