St Brigid's saw off Boyle by six points to book their place in the 2020 Hudson Bay Hotel Roscommon football final with a 2-15 to 2-9 victory.
Ruairi Fallon steered Ciaran Suruge’s sixth minute shot into the back of the Boyle net, with Boyle failing to register another score until the 23rd minute as they trailed 1-4 to two points.
Brigids kept the pressure up leading 1-7 to five points at the break as both sides exchanged scores leaving it 1-14 to seven at the second water break.
Boyle bounced right back into it with David Goldrick firing in a Boyle goal to make it a seven point game with Enda Smith finding the net four minutes later to make it a four point game.
St. Brigids responded nearly immediately as Ben O’Carroll fired in Brigids second goal making it 2-14 to 2-7 with six minutes remaining.
Brigids were always in control, even allowing for Tadhg McKenna and Donnie Smith (free) adding on scores but it was too little too late as Brigids progressed to the Roscommon final by six points.
