Return to play

The GAA have announced an earlier return to training for the coming week:

Open pitches for Adult training next Wednesday, June 24th.  Open for Minor and below from Saturday, June 27th.

***Both of the above on a non-contact basis and on the understanding that players and all participants have completed the eLearning module and are following the control measures in place (health questionnaire etc).***

Allow contact training and challenge games for all from Monday, June 29th.

Please note: Dressings room facilities will not be open until 20th July. All players etc should arrive for training togged out.

Each individual should bring their own labelled water bottle.

***Everyone is asked to complete the online e-learning module from the GAA prior to returning to training. Course Available here ***

Players, coaches, parents etc are asked to fill in an online health questionnaire prior to recommencing training.

Walking Track

The club walking track has reopened with specific opening times for the walking track to comply with GAA guidelines.

The track will be open from 2-4pm and 5-7pm daily, with 2-4pm slot set aside for the elderly, vulnerable and those cocooning.

All social distance guidelines will be followed and there will be a separate entrance and exit for the walking track, with a one way system in operation.

Cash4clobber

We are still collecting bags of unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, belts and bed linen. Dressing six at the back of the clubhouse is open every afternoon for bag drop offs.

Scrap Metal Collection

The skip for scrap metal is now back at the clubhouse. Please be aware no white appliances are accepted.

Lotto

St. Brigid’s lotto is on sale in local shops McHugh’s and Menton’s in Curraghboy, Tavanagh Meats, Brideswell, Dooley’s Fruit and Veg, Athlone and the Strawberry Stand across from Collins Shop on the main Roscommon Road.

Through the online system you can now do three entries in the one draw for €5 and add a further three lines for €10 (equivalent of a normal lotto book).
