Return to play

All of our teams are now back in action with many involved in challenge games at the club over the weekend.

It was great to see a welcome return to activity at the club and to see our many supporters back enjoying football action after such a long break.

A big thank you also to Kenny and the FAS lads for ensuring the grounds and pitches are in top class condition ahead of a busy but shortened season.

We want to thank everyone again for respectfully observing our Covid-19 protocols to date and we ask that everyone continue to take note of the club’s guidelines in relation to maintaining a safe environment for our players, coaches and mentors.

The closure of a number of clubs in Cork due to Covid-19 is a stark reminder for all club members to observe and follow our health guidelines when they arrive at the club.

Registration

We are holding another registration morning next Saturday morning at 10am, July 18th. It is essential that all players are registered in order to participate in training and club games.

If at all possible, the club would prefer if people would register online through our website facility here

The Academy, catering for U-6s, U-8s, U-10s and U-12s, warmly welcomes all of its players back and extends a special welcome to new players and their parents.

We remind all parents/guardians of players of the following important information in relation to Covid-19 protocols:

  1. Parents/guardians of players must complete the online e-learning module here At the end of the module, you will receive a certificate that you email here

  1. For underage players, parents are also asked to complete a health questionnaire for each child. Link to questionnaire here. This health questionnaire must be completed before each training session/game.
  2. Ensure you are a registered club member. Due to GDPR, the GAA can only hold information such as the health questionnaire for registered members.

To register go to the bottom of the club’s homepage, www.stbrigids.gaa.ie and click on club membership.

Cash4clobber

We are still collecting bags of unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, belts and bed linen. Dressing room 6 at the back of the clubhouse is open every afternoon for bag drop offs.
