There was a large turnout in County Roscommon yesterday for the unveiling of a statue in honour of a much-loved priest. The life-sized statue depicting the late Fr Raymond Browne was officially unveiled in Fourmilehouse at a special ceremony. Fr Browne, or Ray as he was known, passed away in 2020 after spending 34 years in the Parish of Kilbride. He was regarded as a living Saint by many parishioners due to his work with community groups and the development of local amenities.
