The man accused of the murder of a garda in Castlerea over two years ago is due to continue giving evidence at his trial today.
Stephen Silver, of Aughaward, Foxford, Mayo, told the Central Criminal Court on Wednesday that he has a history of psychiatric illness.

The court also heard the day before the shooting he thought about booking himself in for some respite because he felt 'the stress' was really getting to him.
