The jury begin their consideration of four verdicts on Monday afternoon.

Barrister Roisin Lacey, told the jury it 'would be highly unfair to convict Mr silver of capital murder or any alternative murder' and championed the work of her own psychiatric expert witness, Dr Brenda Wright over the prosecution's Professor Henry Kennedy

The jury heard claims that the accused was disconnected from reality on the night of the shooting.

'Stephen Silver was not unwell, just very very angry', one of the final statements from the prosecution.

Closing arguments are due to get underway tomorrow.
