The manager of the Lough Key Forest and Activity Park says that fallen branches and trees have caused some damage overnight and some attractions are now closed as a result.
Louise Fitzpatrick says most people camping in the park left yesterday and were given refunds or rebooking's, and while a few chose to stay there was no serious damage at the campsite.
Fallen branches have caused issues for the tree canopy walk and the zip wire attraction and they are both closed at present as is the viewing platform.
Up to three large trees also fell on roads into the park but they have now been cleared.
Louise Fitzpatrick says they are still concerned that more branches could fall through the day so they are advising people not to walk in the forest for the next day or so…
